In 2005 we turned this desire to provide ethnic meals into a solution for everyone who needed healthy and delicious meals that made them think of home. Our first meal delivery route was 16 people, most of whom still receive our meals. Ten years later, we serve more than 3,000 consumers, including seniors in Columbus, with a team of professional and experienced employees in large facilities in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio.

There are no contracts or subscriptions required. If you can’t stand putting anything unhealthy in your body then you’re in the right place. There are no GMOs, Gluten, Dairy, Sugar, fillers, preservatives or ingredients you don’t recognize in our meals. That means less time scanning ingredients in the grocery aisle and more time hanging out at Short North instead. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a scheduled delivery time. Each week we base our delivery routes on the number of orders we receive and their location.
Since the volume and routes of our delivery changes, we are unable to offer to schedule for meal drop-offs. We wanted to provide our parents the types of meals they themselves made for us in our childhood. Our pre-portioned meals come with exact calorie, micro and macronutrient breakdowns so that you can spend less time tracking and more time chatting about the Buckeyes. We recommend reheating your meals in 30-second increments. We use text notifications to update you on the status of your delivery. You will receive a text message when your meals have been picked up by our delivery drivers and en route to your home.

Yes, orders can be canceled if a cancellation request is submitted in writing to by Thursday at 8pm. Cancellations will not be processed after the ordering deadline. All orders must be received every Thursday by 8pm. You will receive a text message on your selected delivery date when your order is headed to your home. A volunteer or staff member will deliver your meals, meaning someone checks up on you regularly to make sure you are OK.
We’ll bring a whole week's worth of home meal delivery kits around the same time of day on the same day each week. We’ll advise you in advance of your delivery day and time so you can count on us to arrive consistently to your home. We restore balance and choice with rotating menus that fit your lifestyle and taste great.

At Simply Plated we take the safety and health of our clients seriously. All meals are prepared in our commercial kitchen, which has been inspected and approved by the health department. Prior to delivery, all meals are stored in a regulated refrigerator. Entrees last up to 5 days if stored properly in the refrigerator.
