Also today, Sid examines a mole on Romeo's shoulder that the radiographer suggested he checked out. Sid tells Romeo that they will need to do tests to find out if it is benign. Romeo asks Sid to keep it quiet from Indi until the results are back - he knows that she has enough on her plate without having to worry about him. Later, Sid comes to tell Romeo that the results have come back - it is a melanoma. Romeo insists that they don't tell Indi until they find out how serious it is. After the stabbing in prison, Casey wakes in hospital with Tamara by his side.
Meanwhile, down at the Surf Club, Natalie tells Liam about her decision to avoid Brax, but on cue Brax appears from the surf. She isn't able to tell Brax that she feels they should not see each other. Later, Natalie hears about the advice that Brax gave Casey about taking away Courtney's power and she confronts him, but Brax ignores her advice. After they fight, Brax reveals he's always wanted to be with Natalie - he thinks they should be together. Later, Natalie admits to Brax that she loves him, but they're not a good fit together. Danny furiously attacks Casey
At the same time, Brax blames Zac for not looking out for Casey in prison, telling him to stay away from now on. However, an angry Natalie tells Brax that Zac is Casey's best bet of getting through this, so he needs to stop being so pig headed and choose between his brothers and his pride. After learning that Casey was the one to cut things off with Ruby, Danny is furious that his son has double-crossed him. Danny attacks Casey, but the teenager is committed to protecting Ruby and learning what his father is really up to, so he pretends that he is back on Danny's side. He goes to Ruby to explain the truth, but she is so upset that she is being used by his family that she tells him she wants nothing to do with the Braxtons.
Over at the hospital, Zac tells Casey that if he gives a statement about who stabbed him, there's a chance that his sentence will be reduced to 'time served' - he'd be free. However, Casey is not interested in giving a statement unless he knows that Jamie will be protected in prison - he can't have a death on his conscience. Tamara and Brax urge Casey to put his own safety first and give the statement. Hurt by the feeling that Casey is choosing prison code over a life with her, Tamara gives him the ultimatum - if he chooses not to give the statement, then they are over.
